Details

The lamp is zinc alloy and hollow. It has a pedestal foot, a curled handle, a long spout and a domed lid with round holes, a raised flower and a small finial. Scroll patterns cover the body. It comes in Bronze or Gold. It needs no electricity.

The incense sits inside the body of the lamp, under the lid. As it burns, the smoke and scent escape through the holes in the lid. The lid also keeps the glowing tip covered.

How to use

Set the lamp on a flat, heat resistant surface away from drafts. Lift off the domed lid. Light a small incense cone, blow out the flame so it glows, and set it inside the lamp. Put the lid back on. When the cone has burned out and the lamp is cold, tip out the ash.

Shipping and returns

Ships in 24 to 48 hours, then 6 to 9 business days in transit. Free shipping over $75. 30 days to return an unused item in its original packaging.

Safety

Never leave burning incense unattended. Metal carries heat, so the whole lamp can get hot while the incense burns. Do not touch it or lift the lid until it has cooled. Keep it away from curtains, paper and drafts, and out of reach of children and pets. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.

Questions

Four things people ask

What is the Genie Lamp Metal Incense Burner made of?

It is metal. A burner takes heat and ash every time it is used, so the material has to stand it and then wipe clean once the piece is cold.

Is it safe to leave it burning?

Never leave burning incense unattended. Keep the burner on a heatproof surface, clear of curtains, paper and anything that moves in a draft, and remember that the ash and the piece stay hot for a while after the incense has gone out.

How much is it, and is shipping free?

This one is $24.90, and shipping is free over $75. Below that shipping is a flat $5.90, and an unused piece in its original packaging can go back within 30 days.

Where should the burner stand?

On a hard, heatproof surface with nothing above it. Smoke marks what it touches, so keep the burner clear of shelves, fabric and low ceilings, and give it a spot that can be wiped once the ash is cold.
