Details

The holder is ceramic with a glossy glaze. The tray is a green lotus leaf with a wavy rim. The flower in its center has one hole for an incense stick. It is made for stick incense. Four flower styles are available: pink lotus, white lotus, pale pink lotus and yellow rose.

The flower holds the stick upright while it burns from the tip down. The ash drops onto the leaf instead of onto your shelf. The smoke rises in a thin line, as it does from any stick.

How to use

Push one end of an incense stick into the hole in the flower. Light the other end, let it catch, then blow the flame out so it glows. Once the ash is cold, tip it out and wipe the leaf with a damp cloth.

Shipping and returns

Ships in 24 to 48 hours, then 6 to 9 business days in transit. Free shipping over $75. 30 days to return an unused item in its original packaging.

Safety

Never leave burning incense unattended. Use the holder on a heat resistant surface, away from curtains, paper and drafts, and out of reach of children and pets. Let the ash and the holder cool completely before you clean them. Ceramic can chip or break if dropped.

Questions

Four things people ask

What is the Ceramic Lotus Leaf Incense Stick Holder made of?

It is ceramic. A burner takes heat and ash every time it is used, so the material has to stand it and then wipe clean once the piece is cold.

Is it safe to leave it burning?

Never leave burning incense unattended. Keep the burner on a heatproof surface, clear of curtains, paper and anything that moves in a draft, and remember that the ash and the piece stay hot for a while after the incense has gone out.

How much is it, and is shipping free?

This one is $24.90, and shipping is free over $75. Below that shipping is a flat $5.90, and an unused piece in its original packaging can go back within 30 days.

Where should the burner stand?

On a hard, heatproof surface with nothing above it. Smoke marks what it touches, so keep the burner clear of shelves, fabric and low ceilings, and give it a spot that can be wiped once the ash is cold.
