Details

Ten incense sticks, each with a coated upper part and a bare bamboo end. No scent is named for this pack. The holder shown in the photos is not included.

A stick burns slowly from the lit tip down toward the bamboo end and sends up a thin line of smoke. The ash drops below the stick, so the holder needs a tray or dish under it. A backflow burner only shows falling smoke with backflow cones; the smoke of a stick rises as usual.

How to use

Push the bare end into a holder with a stick hole, over a dish or tray. Light the tip, let it catch, then blow the flame out so it glows. Burn the stick away from drafts. To stop it early, press the glowing tip into sand.

Shipping and returns

Ships in 24 to 48 hours, then 6 to 9 business days in transit. Free shipping over $75. 30 days to return an unused item in its original packaging.

Safety

Never leave burning incense unattended. Burn sticks only in a holder on a heat resistant surface, away from curtains, paper and drafts, and out of reach of children and pets. The ash stays hot for a while, so let it cool completely before you empty the holder. Store unused sticks in a dry place.

Questions

Four things people ask

When will it ship?

Ships in 24 to 48 hours. A tracking number is emailed the moment it leaves, so the parcel can be followed from there without writing in to ask where it is. The address on the order is the one it follows.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is free over $75. Below that it is a flat $5.90, shown at checkout before you pay, with nothing added afterwards.

Can I return it?

Yes, within 30 days. The item has to be unused and in its original packaging, which is the usual condition for a piece that can go back on sale. The return policy page carries the detail.

How do I get in touch?

Write to contact@houseofdusk.com and a person answers. A question about an order moves faster with the order number in the first line, and a question about a piece is worth asking before you buy rather than after.
