Every House of Dusk oil is a single 10 ml bottle of essential oil, bottled in the United States and sold at $14. Twenty scents are stocked all year, from lavender and peppermint to sandalwood and neroli. Three or more bottles ship free.
What is in the bottle
Ten millilitres of essential oil in amber glass, with a child resistant cap and a dropper insert. The amber glass keeps light off the oil, which is what makes a bottle last. The full ingredient and allergen list is printed on every label.
The twenty scents
Choose one scent per bottle. The range runs from the herbaceous, lavender, rosemary, geranium, to the citrus, lemon, orange, bergamot, lemongrass, to the woods and resins, cedarwood, sandalwood, vetiver, patchouli, frankincense, and the florals, rose, jasmine, ylang-ylang, neroli. Peppermint, eucalyptus, tea tree and vanilla round out the set.
How to use it
Three to five drops in a full tank is enough for most ultrasonic diffusers. In a wax warmer, add a few drops to a little water in the dish. On a car vent clip or a wooden pad, two or three drops last two to three weeks. Turn reed sticks once a week and the throw comes back.
How long a bottle lasts
At three to five drops a day, a 10 ml bottle runs for about two months in a diffuser. A bottle keeps its character for two years unopened, and about a year once it has been opened, stored upright and away from direct sun.
Safety and storage
Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never swallow. Do not apply undiluted to skin. Store upright, capped, away from heat and direct sunlight. Essential oils are flammable, so keep them away from an open flame.
