Details

The body is resin, finished to look like gray rock. It has a white cloud near the top, a small house with an orange roof, a tree with yellow and green leaves, and a small white stone by the pool. A ring at the top holds the cone. It comes in one style.

A backflow cone is hollow at the base. Set on the ring, it draws part of its smoke down through a channel inside the rock. That smoke is cooler and heavier than the air, so it spills out and runs down the waterfall into the pool.

How to use

Light the tip of a backflow cone, let it catch, then blow the flame out so it glows. Set it on the ring, hollow side down. Keep the burner in still air, away from fans, vents and open windows, which break up the falling smoke. A cool room also helps.

Shipping and returns

Ships in 24 to 48 hours, then 6 to 9 business days in transit. Free shipping over $75. 30 days to return an unused item in its original packaging.

Safety

Never leave burning incense unattended. Use the burner on a heat resistant surface, away from curtains and paper, and out of reach of children and pets. The top gets hot while the cone burns, so let it cool before you touch it. Clear the cold ash after each use and wipe the rock with a dry cloth.

Questions

Four things people ask

How does a backflow incense burner work?

The smoke of a backflow cone is heavier than the air around it, so it runs down the piece instead of rising. The cone needs a hollow center and a channel in the burner for the effect to show.

What is the Mountain Waterfall Resin Backflow Incense Burner made of?

It is resin. A burner takes heat and ash every time it is used, so the material has to stand it and then wipe clean once the piece is cold.

Is it safe to leave it burning?

Never leave burning incense unattended. Keep the burner on a heatproof surface, clear of curtains, paper and anything that moves in a draft, and remember that the ash and the piece stay hot for a while after the incense has gone out.

How much is it, and is shipping free?

This one is $24.90, and shipping is free over $75. Below that shipping is a flat $5.90, and an unused piece in its original packaging can go back within 30 days.
