Details

The burner is ceramic. It is a round pot on three small feet, with three holes in the front and a lid on top. The three options differ by color and finish: white textured, white and black, each with a mountain lid. It is made for coil incense.

The coil burns slowly inside the pot, out of sight. The smoke drifts out through the openings, and the ash stays inside the pot instead of on your table.

How to use

Lift off the lid. Light the outer end of an incense coil, let it catch, then blow the flame out so it glows. Set the coil inside the pot and put the lid back. Place the burner on a heat resistant surface and let the coil burn down.

Shipping and returns

Ships in 24 to 48 hours, then 6 to 9 business days in transit. Free shipping over $75. 30 days to return an unused item in its original packaging.

Safety

Never leave burning incense unattended. The pot and the lid get hot while the coil burns, so lift the lid only once it has cooled. Keep the burner away from curtains, paper and drafts, and out of reach of children and pets. Empty the ash once it is cold.

Questions

Four things people ask

What is the Ceramic Mountain Lid Incense Censer made of?

It is ceramic. A burner takes heat and ash every time it is used, so the material has to stand it and then wipe clean once the piece is cold.

Is it safe to leave it burning?

Never leave burning incense unattended. Keep the burner on a heatproof surface, clear of curtains, paper and anything that moves in a draft, and remember that the ash and the piece stay hot for a while after the incense has gone out.

How much is it, and is shipping free?

This one is $34.90, and shipping is free over $75. Below that shipping is a flat $5.90, and an unused piece in its original packaging can go back within 30 days.

Where should the burner stand?

On a hard, heatproof surface with nothing above it. Smoke marks what it touches, so keep the burner clear of shelves, fabric and low ceilings, and give it a spot that can be wiped once the ash is cold.
