It is a reed diffuser set: a clear glass bottle filled with 50 ml of alcohol free fragrance oil, white reed sticks and a woven ball that rests on the sticks. The scents are osmanthus, bluebell, lavender and white tea, and the oil color changes with the scent. The oil has a shelf life of 3 years. It needs no power and no flame.
Reed sticks stand in the scented liquid and draw it up by capillary action. At the top of each stick the liquid meets the air and scents the room. Nothing is heated or plugged in. More sticks give a stronger scent.
How to use
Place the bottle on a flat, stable surface. Open it and stand the reed sticks in the oil, then set the woven ball on top of the sticks. Give them a few hours to soak through before you judge the scent. Turn the sticks over now and then to refresh it.
