Details
It is a passive diffuser: a decorative apple made of natural wood, with a stem on top and a matte finish. There is no tank, no cord and no battery. It is sold as a single piece, and essential oil is not included.
Wood is porous. Drops of oil soak into the surface and evaporate slowly, so the scent leaves the apple a little at a time. Nothing is heated and nothing moves. The scent is soft and stays close to the piece, which suits a desk, a shelf or a bedside table.
How to use
Set the apple on a dry, flat surface. Add two or three drops of essential oil to the top, around the stem, and let them soak in. Add another drop or two when the scent fades. Use one oil at a time, since the wood holds on to the last scent for a while.
Shipping and returns
Ships in 24 to 48 hours, then 6 to 9 business days in transit. Free shipping over $75. 30 days to return an unused item in its original packaging.
Safety
Oil can mark furniture and fabric, so place the apple on a coaster or small tray. Wipe the wood with a dry cloth and never soak it in water. Keep it away from open flames and heat. Keep essential oils and the oiled apple out of reach of children and pets, and keep oil off the skin.
