It is a reed diffuser in a square glass bottle filled with 200 ml of fragrance oil. A square cap sits on top, with an opening for the reed sticks. The four scents are sold as Garden, Terrace, Hisagi and Chunshu. Each one has its own glass tint and cap finish, shown in its photo. It needs no power and no flame.
Reed sticks stand in the scented liquid and draw it up by capillary action. At the top of each stick the liquid meets the air and scents the room. Nothing is heated or plugged in. More sticks give a stronger scent.
How to use
Place the bottle on a flat, stable surface. Stand the reed sticks in the oil through the opening in the cap. Give them a few hours to soak through before you judge the scent. Turn the sticks over now and then to refresh it. Use fewer sticks for a lighter scent in a small room.
