Details

The body is white ceramic with dark speckles and a textured surface. A wide opening at the front holds a white candle cup with a handle, and a gold tone dish rests on top. You get one burner. Oil is sold separately.

A tealight in the cup heats the dish from below. The warm water lets the oil release its scent, which rises into the room. There is no mist and no power cord.

How to use

Set the burner on a flat, heat resistant surface. Pour water into the dish and add a few drops of essential oil. Put a tealight in the cup, light it, and slide the cup into the opening by its handle. Top up the water as it evaporates, and blow out the tealight when you are done.

Shipping and returns

Ships in 24 to 48 hours, then 6 to 9 business days in transit. Free shipping over $75. 30 days to return an unused item in its original packaging.

Safety

Never leave a lit tealight unattended. Keep the burner away from curtains, paper and drafts, and out of reach of children and pets. The dish gets hot, so let it cool before you touch it. Do not let the dish boil dry. Wipe the dish clean with a soft cloth once it is cold.

Questions

Four things people ask

What goes in the dish?

Water first, then a few drops of oil. The tealight under the dish warms them and the scent rises as they warm. Some burners also take wax melts, and the product description says when one does.

What is it made of?

It is ceramic. The dish takes the heat of the tealight every time the burner is lit, so let the piece cool completely before you wipe it clean.

How much is it, and is shipping free?

This one is $29.90, and shipping is free over $75. Below that shipping is a flat $5.90, and an unused piece in its original packaging can go back within 30 days.

How do I clean the dish?

Let the burner cool completely, pour out what is left in the dish, then wipe it with a soft cloth. Keep water in the dish while the tealight burns, since a dish that runs dry is harder to clean.
